Destyni Upton, CSWI
I believe that therapy is about more than overcoming challenges – it’s about discovering your strength, building confidence, and finding meaningful connection with yourself and the world around you. I specialize in working with children, teens, and young adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, and emotional struggles, helping them feel heard, valued, and empowered.
My background is in Behavioral Science, and I’m currently pursuing my Master of Social Work at Utah Valley University. I use approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, tailoring sessions to each client’s unique needs to create real, lasting growth. I believe that therapy works best when it’s collaborative – I work closely with my clients to ensure they feel in control of their healing journey.
I also have a deep love for animals and am excited to soon integrate animal-assisted interventions into my work, knowing how powerful animals can be in helping children and teens feel safe and connected.
Outside of therapy, you’ll find me staying active and connected to nature – hiking, exploring, and competitive horseback riding are some of my favorite ways to recharge. I love reading, spending time with friends and family, and finding balance and joy in everyday life. It’s my mission to help my clients do the same – creating lives that feel authentic, connected, and fulfilling.
