Cole Monsen, MSWI
I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, and relationship challenges. I have over five years of experience supporting individuals in a crisis shelter, where I developed a steady and supportive presence in difficult situations. My approach is collaborative and solution-focused, and I prioritize creating a space where you feel heard and understood. Most importantly, I focus on helping you find practical, lasting solutions that support your growth and well-being.
I believe therapy is more than just talking about challenges; it’s about building a healthier relationship with yourself and others, and creating real, lasting change. I work with youth and adults (ages 10+) who are navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, and relationship challenges. My approach is understanding, collaborative, and solution-focused, and I strive to meet you where you are. My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and empowered as we work together to create meaningful, lasting change.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Social Work from Utah Valley University and am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Social Work there as well. I bring over five years of experience working in a youth crisis shelter, along with additional experience in residential substance use treatment and school settings. These experiences have shaped my belief that everyone deserves to be met with understanding in a safe and welcoming environment.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors. I like playing and watching sports such as basketball, football, and golf, as well as getting outside to fish, walk, and exercise. I also enjoy simple everyday things that bring me joy, like a cold Mountain Dew.
